Final Fantasy Bestiary: Explosives

EXPLOSIVES

Because of their unenviable ability to explode, these mosnters are all named after explosives (except the balloon, but the reference is still the same). As my own knowledge of explosives is lacking, I'm using the definitions from The Concise Oxford Dictionary (1965 edition).

Balloon -- Bomb -- Dark Grenade -- Grenade -- Mine -- Mother Bomb -- Pain Bomb -- Remedy Bomb

BALLOON

n.; anything hollow & inflated (The Concise Oxford Dictionary, 1965 edition)

BOMB, MOTHER BOMB, PAIN BOMB, REMEDY BOMB

n., & v.t. & i. A high-explosive or incendiary or smoke or gas etc. projectile fired from a mortar, or thrown or deposited by hand, or thrown or deposited by hand, or dropped from an aeroplane & exploded by percussion or by time mechanism (The Concise Oxford Dictionary, 1965 edition)

The mother bomb turns into a group of smaller bombs after exploding, the pain bomb causes pain, the remedy bomb... well, I'm not too sure about the remedy bomb. "Remedy" can mean counterattack as well as cure, which is probably it.

GRENADE, DARK GRENADE

MINE
