Lamia -- Lamia Queen -- Mother Lamia
Lamia was a queen from Greek mythology, who had an affair with the god Zeus.
Zeus's consort, Hera, punished Lamia by turning her into a scaly, clawed vampire.
The children she had afterwards looked similar, but walked on all fours.
They were also called lamias, so it's possible that the lamia queen (and the mother lamia, they're both basically the same monster) is based around the
original Lamia, while the weaker lamias are her children.
