Sahuagins are predetory fish-men from Dungeons and Dragons that use crossbows, spears, tridants and nets as weapons. Each sahuagin king has nine princes ruling parts of his kingdom, who in turn have several nobles under them (these nobels may have inspired FF's sahuagin chiefs). The sahuagins worship a great devil shark.
The desert sahuagin is a Square creation.
