  The Kings Seat
A view of Barrasford from the 'Kings Seat', the alleged throne of King Arthur.

Barrasford Village lies in the Tyne Valley approximately 9 miles north of Hexham, off the A6079 travelling towards Rothbury. It is within easy commuting distance of Newcastle.

Barrasford is rich in History. The remains of a Roman Settlement and a Bronze Age Burial Site are just two of the nearby historical features.
