A B&B Obsession

On this page, you can see two lists. The other one contains several symptons which would declare you a B&B obsessed person. The other list was born as a by-product for the first list, and contains things which declare you a bold and beautiful person. These lists could almost just as well be a one list, but maybe it's clearer this way. If you want to add to either of these lists, do e-mail me with your lines!

You know you're obsessed with The Bold and the Beautiful when...

... You watch the show every day, never missing an episode. And if you do miss one, you get really desperate.
.... If you are unable to see the show, you program your VCR to tape it for you.
... You tape all the best parts, e.g weddings, proposals, honeymoons, all the scenes with Ridge & Taylor/ Thorne & Brooke/Amber & Rick or some other specific characters that are your favorites.
... You even go so far as to tape the show every time.
... You save all your tapes so you can watch them when B&B is not on.
... You read the soap opera magazines or surf the net to find out what will happen next in the show, and you still watch it - and very faithfully.
... You read all the gossip and news on the actors and actresses of B&B you can possibly find. The mere mention of one of the actors/actresses can make you happy for the rest of the day.
... You spend a lot of time justifying Brooke's/Taylor's doings.
... You have your hair cut to resemble Ridge's hair.
... You go to plastic surgery, wanting to reshape your jaw to resemble Ridge's.
...You go to the mall looking for Forrester clothes. You get really angry when there isn't any.
...Your favorite song is "High upon this love" or any song sung by Macy and Thorne (or rather Bobbie Eakes and Jeff Trachta).
... You smile every time someone mentions the words bold and/or beautiful outside the show.
... The main topic in the conversations between you and your friends is whether Forrester is better than Spectra and if Brooke actually is as horrible as Stephanie and others believe she is.
... You meet a person called Brooke/Ridge/Taylor/Eric/Stephanie/Amber/Rick/ Clarke/Thorne/Macy/Deacon/Bridget/anyone Jr. and you greet him/her with something like "Hey, you share the name of my favorite soap opera character! I just love you!"
... You'd like to have your wedding on the beach and arrive there on the back of a horse, even though you can't even ride.
... If you ever wanted to kill someone, you'd definitely do it with mercury or with that long stick which is by the fireplace.
... You seriously consider naming your children Ridge and Thorne.
...You have a daughter called Brooke, even though you don't even live in an English-speaking country.
... You visit LA, and the first thing you do is ask someone where you can find Café Russé/Café Insomnia.
... You spend a lot of time trying to reinvent the BeLief formula.
... You hate someone desperately just because she/he happens to be a fan of Brooke's/ Taylor's while you are in favor of the other one.
... When you are online, you spend most of your time on B&B websites. Actually, you even have a whole folder or two or three in your bookmarks/favorites devoted to B&B websites only.
...You devote an entire webpage for the Bold and the Beautiful.
... You make a up a "You know you are obsessed with B&B when..."- list and publish it in the net. (This is a must on all the lists like this)
... You can discuss the characters and the storyline on the show like it was real at the dinner

You know you've turned into bold and beautiful when...

... You completely stop working and instead spend all the time that you are in your office discussing about your relationship with someone.
... You tell your husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend/lover all the time: "Oh (enter person's name here), I love you so much!"
... You try to master your children's lovelives.
... You steal your cousin's baby.
... In fact, you'd do anything to keep your rich husband.
... You want to have a child just to trap your husband.
... You lie about being pregnant in order to keep your husband.
... You want to have a child with your best friend's husband to replace the baby your best friend's husband's mother took away from you "all those years ago."
... You have a child that's "not so perfect", and you decide to keep him/her a secret from your husband.
... Your marriage comes to an end, and you blame Brooke for it.
... Your car is stolen and you blame Brooke.
... You lose your job and it's Brooke's fault.
... All the information on your computer hard drive is suddenly wiped out and you blame Brooke.
... Hurricane hits your city and you blame Brooke.
... The end of the world comes and it's Brooke's fault, of course. She's the one who seduced the end of the world into coming, anyway.
... You constantly divorce or annull your marriages.
... and you keep on marrying the same people again, after a while.
....or you, after divorcing someone, go after his/her siblings or father/mother.
... Your children age about 12 years in one night and you don't even notice.
... YOU can age about 12 years in one night but no one, much less you, will even notice.
... Someone asks you a question and you reply with "I need some time to think."
... You are in love with two women and because you can't choose which one you want, you change between them all the time.
... You often speak to yourself aloud, and mostly about your darkest secrets. Still, no one hears you.
... but when you are having a conversation with someone about a secret, someone is always eaves-dropping behind the door.
... You throw menacing looks at anyone who dares to look at your husband/wife.
... Your personality changes often, allowing you to do things you never would have imagined doing a year ago.
... You have tried to kill someone but you don't remember it.
... You have tried to kill someone but no one holds you responsible (for this to work, your last name has to be Forrester and first name preferably Stephanie or something similar).
... You have a job at a famous fashion house, but you don't really do anything there.
... You eat all your dinners in a restaurant.
... You never have to use the bathroom, and if you take a shower or bath, you always go with your husband/wife/lover.
... however, you might go to the ladies/mens room in a restaurant, and while you are there, you a) run into someone and have a heated conversation with him/her or b) the person who is with you in the restaurant, runs into someone he/she can have a heated conversation with while you are "powdering your nose" or "freshening up."
... You never have to clean your house, even if you don't seem to have a maid who would do it for you. This does not work if you were not born rich.
... The only time you actually go on vacation is when you go on a honey moon. Then, it has to be something really posh.
... When you get married and the minister asks the congregation to speak now or forever hold thy peace, someone ALWAYS stands up.
... You've been involved with several psychos.
... Your ex-husband marries the daughter of the woman he dated before you stole him from her.
... You have relationships with your sons' wives.
... No matter how many men you try out, you always go back to the one who treats you like garbage whenever you don't want him.
... When someone has betrayed you, cheated on you, played you for a fool or anything similar, you repeat over and over again: "How could you, [enter betrayer's name here]? How could you do this to me?"
... You rarely deliver messages (telephone or letters) that someone asks you to deliver.
... You never keep in touch with relatives or friends, who have moved to/live in another town. You don't even mention them.
...Your make-up is always perfect, even after a good night's sleep.
...even though, whenever you are actually in bed, you are most likely not alone and definitely not sleeping.
... You do horrible things or make up horrible lies, and when your lies come out, everyone swears that they will NEVER forgive you and that they hate you and that they want you out of their lives. Don't worry. They will have forgiven you completely after a while.
... Your husband/boyfriend gives you a ring/necklace/ear rings or anything similar and you breathe in, smile and utter: Oh (enter guy's name here), it's beautiful!
... You claim to have very high morals but your actions speak against that.
... You are said to be a great psychiatrist but the only people you actually treat are your friends, enemies and relatives, and only when they don't want any advice.
...You seem to have found the love of your life and married him/her. You are completely and totally happy for two weeks... and then you die. Alternatively, your significant other dies.

...You are a prominent psychiatrist/psychologist or ceo of a large company and yet you cling

to a loser-man for no apparent reason ~ and let this man go back/forth between you and

someone else.

...You stroll into peoples homes without knocking or thinking twice.

...Your office door is ALWAYS slightly ajar.

...You order meals in restaurants then abruptly leave -- not touching the food or getting it

to-go -- or even paying for it!

...You stand around time after time, letting people hit you, scold, berate, disrespect you

AND TRY TO KILL YOU, but you won't fight back or call the cops!....you just sit there

squidlike and take it.

...You are magically the same type-match for an organ transplant, you share/receive one on

Monday and are just fine and back to normal by Friday -- with no scars!

...Your pregnancy lasts a year, and when you give birth, the child{ren} are preeeeemies!

[and a week later you wear a size 2 dress! -- what a b*tch!]

...You know you have little children, you just don't see them very often.
