BBH's Little Site - B.B. Hood
Kawaii mercenary ^_^

Who's BBH?
Wai!
Baby Bonnie Hood (Bulleta to the Japanese, B.B. Hood or BBH for short) is a cute little 12-year-old girl in a red-hood outfit. She just reeks of cuteness, from the butterflies and puppy that always follow her to her sweet charming looks and personality. You can't help but admire her childish charms...

...until she turns mean and blows your head off with her uzi! Yes, you read that right; she's not your typical cute girl. She can indeed be nice, but when the need arises, she can turn into a nightmare of blazing guns and explosives! You see, she's a bounty hunter. A mercenary for hire, she kills for cash. Yes, a cute girl like her, believe it or not.

BBH's first appearance was in Darkstalkers, Capcom's fighting game series where monsters like vampires and werewolves duke it out. More precisely, she made her debut in the game's third installment, Vampire Savior. She does seem out of place there, but you'll soon discover that she's a little horror herself >:)

How does she fight, you ask? With girly slaps & kicks, land mines, and a basket (that also doubles as a rocket launcher) full of apple bombs, doll bombs, molotov cocktails, knives, her trusty uzi, and who knows what else? She also sends her opponents for a spin, beats them up silly as she cries for her grandmother, and even calls for two huge armed giants to help her riddle her opponents with a ton of bullets. She's cute and kickass at the same time :)

Unfortunately, she has one problem. She has no story. None of the games she's in explain her history (how she became what she is, and at such a young age too), and there's nothing major going on for her. She just hunts for money, that's it. But maybe that's a good thing, because people can make up any kind of story for her without having to worry about anything official. I've come across many BBH fanfics, and I was pretty entertained by them too. Still, I wish there was something solid to follow...

In conclusion, BBH is a fun and unique character. She's sooooo cute and devious at the same time. I thank her creators for coming up with such a crazy idea for a character :)

Why do you like her so much that you'd name your online self after her?
I have a passion for girls. Cute girls, especially. I also like action, so I'm not a total pansy :p

Anyways, it all started when I discovered Vamp Savior sometime in 1998. A fighting game full of B-movie horror rejects, how cute. Then, I saw her... She was so cute, and she was so kicking ass. She was both of what I love so much rolled into one package. Call me mushy, but I fell in love with her ^_^

I wasn't very good with fighting games back then, but I still forced myself to play the game as the angel (or devil, depending on your view) known as Baby Bonnie Hood. Slowly, I learned how to use her, then how the game works, then started to get into fighting games in general. I played as BBH so much that I memorized combos, AI patterns, even her ending and highest score with her. I just love her sooooo much...

And I guess this affected my selection for an online name. At first, I was reluctant and used a different name for a while. But then, I decided to hell with it. And I've been using BBH as an online name ever since. It'll never ever change, and I mean never; in the online world, I'm BBH for life :D

Now you know why I'm such a BBH freak. I wonder if there are others like me...

Her Games
Here, you'll find info on the games that BBH has been in as a fully playable character:
Vamp Savior
The third installment in the Darkstalkers series, this is the game where she first appeared. A monster fighting game that pits vampires against zombies, ghosts against mummies, werewolves against little girls with guns...

MvC2
The popular fighting game where Capcom's characters (including BBH, to my surprise) battle it out with Marvel's characters. A dynamic team-vs-team smashfest full of exaggerated powers and tons of action.

SvC: MotM
The portable fighting game where SNK and Capcom characters fight each other in glorious miniature action. Created by SNK for the NGPC, you can take the fights anywhere :)

I have yet to play (or even see) this game though, so this section will probably never be made :(

Cannon Spike
A shoot-em-up (shmup for short) by Capcom and Psikyo. Select a Capcom character and blast your way through waves of robotic enemies. Lots of frantic but fun shooting and dodging.

One of these days, I'll get this section up and running...

Miscellaneous Stuff
As far as I know, there's only one game that BBH is in but not as a playable character. That game is Pocket Fighter, a Capcom fighting game where midget versions of characters from Capcom's other fighting games whack each other silly (and I do mean silly ;) ). Anyways, BBH is in this game but only as part of the stage background as you can see here:
Miniature fighters duke it out!

There are also a lot of other Capcom characters cameoing in the BG as well. I'd prefer it if they were playable in the game instead, though. Oh well...
This is why I play Quake 3 :D
Check it out. A guy named Dora (dora03@hanmail.net) was nice enough to make a BBH model for Quake 3. Thanks to him, I like this game more than ever now :D

Check out these other sites about the kawaii mercenary. And thanks for visiting this place :)
The website of BBH's creators, the guys behind Street Fighter, a Japanese site :p

Looking for Frequently Asked Questions? This huge site has a ton of 'em! General game FAQ's, walkthroughs, spoilers, trivial facts, translations, and all kinds of other such gaming info can be found here.

And while you're there, be sure to find and read Saiki's Darkstalkers Plot Guide. Lots of detailed info about the DS games, and it's all canon!

BBH's Picnic Basket
Mad Spence's site. His place has the usual BBH info stuff, plus something this site is missing (and I admit it too): a picture gallery. The place, though, is very outdated; it's been too long now since its last update!

Shock Therapy
A very old site dedicated to the video game Shock Troopers. Nothing about BBH there, except for the fact that the site's creator is also named BBH. Try not to confuse the two of us :)

Mona's site. A Japanese site with lots of BBH stuff, including a lot of very nice artwork (which has inspired me to take up drawing).

If there are any more BBH sites out there, I'd like to hear about them ^_^
