Basically what happened was a friend of mine ..(who I'm sure won't mind his yahoo ID being on such a classy site ;) ) i_am_the_paulrus ...commonly known to us groupies as paul lol! runs a beatles related yahoo group called the Fab4forum, which I have been a member of for some time, he also runs a chat room of the same name most evenings (which you can find under yahoo music user rooms) where he DJ's and keeps us all up to date on all kinds of beatles related stuff. Now this group is getting a little full to say the least! and I had so much stuff that I wanted to upload to group site that there just wasn't room enough, so I decided to make another yahoo group to run along side of pauls ....only there wasn't enough room there either lol! hence this website! The Fab4forum is more of a news/discussion group where you receive all kinds of interesting beatlesy emails from the members and paul himself keeping you up to scratch on beatles goings on of all kinds, now as I could never compete with the email sending powers of the Paulrus lol! I thought that Beatlemaniacs Anonymous should be more of an information group where we can go to look up album track listings etc, also seeing as I live in Liverpool myself, it means that by the power of digital cameras I can also share some of the sights around here that many don't know are there or don't get to see, such as the Mathew street festival and former homes of the Beatles. Below is a brief description of what you will find at each group and as the contents are a bit different, if you are a Beatles addict, it is well worth joining both groups... hope to see you there soon!! The Fab4forum Group moderator/owner - i_am_the_paulrus Here you will find a large community of beatles fans to chat with... 260 to date, polls to take part in, email discussions, links to beatles related news articles, websites, and upcoming beatles events, also there are tons of photos and pictures to browse oh did I mention the emails?? lol!!

BeatlemaniacsAnonymous Group moderator/owner - lennon_lover2003 In this group the files section is packed with album track listings, beatles and solo beatles singles and eps listings, listings of rare and bootleg albums and tracks etc, chart positions, factfiles, desktop themes, screensavers and wallpapers. In the photos section you will find members pics, a folder to upload your pics of you're prize beatles possessions, and many album /ep /singles covers etc There is also polls to take part in, people to chat to and more beatlesy links... |
