_Education I am currently on the 2nd year of a BDES Hons degree in Visual Communication and Design at the University of Ulster in Belfast, which I will hopefully be completing in the summer of 2007. I recently attended the Belfast Institute where I gained a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design. Before that I completed an Advanced Diploma in eMedia at East Antrim Institute.
_ Career Objective My main goal is to advance my skills in the Visual Communication field to a professional level. I hope that after completing my education I can progress into the design industry and hopefully progress through to a senior role within one of the major design firms within Northern Ireland.
_Interests Graphic Design is my main interest both through education and in my personal time. I also enjoy photography which I have taken as a hobby from my time on the HND. I have a keen interest in both preparing and eating food. I enjoy experimenting and being as creative in the kitchen as I am in the design studio.
_Additional During my time on the HND in Graphic Design I won the Scott Lowry award for best progression of work during the two years. This award added to the confidence I already had in my ability as a designer and helped to show the development that I was making in my chosen career path.
