Elmwood Chess Club
Our chess club is based in Hartburn, Stockton-on-Tees. Club nights take place on Thursday nights
starting at 7pm and ending at just
before 10pm. All chess players are welcome to join. The club currently has around 20 members
and we have 3 teams which play in the local Cleveland Chess League. Our “A” Team won the top division last
year. We also have a Juniors team,
which includes me, that plays in the “B” division. In addition to that we have a “B” Team
which also plays in the “B” division.
Also in Cleveland there is a cup competition, an individual tournament and several
annual congresses to enter. So if you
enjoy your chess and want to play more often you are free to join our club. For more information please contact our
