15th Alcester, Ring-necked Parakeet (J Coombes), from the town centre take the road B4089 to Great Alne and as you leave the town you climb a hill (Captains Hill)with houses on your right. At the top of the hill and just past the last house is an access to the sports field (again on the right, just beyond Gerard Road), bird seen in flight twice, mobbed by Rooks..

31st Bentley Woods, 2 Crossbills (B Duckhouse), the male showed a prominent wingbar but view was not ideal. Please keep to public footpath, do not venture onto other tracks. In previous years the pond next to the main footpath has attracted Crossbills down to drink.
