W.W.I Horse was created out of our passion for 20th Century history and horses.
History has tended to forget the important role played by horse during the Great War.
Our aim is to preserve the memory of the men and animals who served in the First World War .
Most of our research has been based on period documents from my Great Grandfather's papers and families memories of the stories he told, thus historical inaccuracies can occur.
Due to a change in our circumstance we can no longer afford the time to do the research for W.W.I Horse website, so the site is no longer updated. When more time allows hopefully the site will be restarted.
If you would like to find out what we are up to visit Harry & Edna's Home Front Friends web site, which features our interpretation and living history impressions. Based on British 20th Century social history.
When searching through W.W.I horse page web site the navigation bar at the bottom of the every page will guide you through the available pages.
If you click on the W.W.I Horse logo at the top left hand side of the screen you will return to this home page.
