The sunshime is falling fast
In the streets, the heat is pressing out,
The fumes are stagnant, rotting stench
Drifts up to my window,
Beads of dew lay on the tarmac and tears
Lay on my sheets, silenty fell and dissapeared,
There's pattern to the drums in their ears
They tell the tales. Soldiers praying far abroad,
Wishes like the smoke cause pain in your eyes
What are you trying to do, or don't you know
If you're a hero yet, the team drifts apart,
They all seperate and you'll be fighting,
Running for what, carrying the weight I curled into.
The stars are hidden veiled
Above my room, the heat is pressing in,
Their songs have died away, screeching harpeys
Fly towards my head, the smoke has created fire,
There's no route I know now, I don't know where,
Where the sun falls away to or where the dew ends.
When you've finished running and dropped
Your weight, I can only pray you'll know where.
