The picture above shows the boglin out of the box. I brought him out of the box because many people dont seem to know what lies in the box as the boglin takes up most of the room.

Boglins Likes/Dislikes

Likes

A boglin enjoys being kept in a dry place. Boglins despise water and any other liquid that he or she should come into contact
with. Boglins can tear easily through constant wear and tear so in order to keep your boglin in a healthy condition it is
advised to handle with care when playing and not over stretch the rubber or swing the beast around by its tail.
Boglins are preyed upon by the most innocent furballistic creatures formly known as cats. When a boglin is not in play it
is wise to put the young one away in its cage which is provided with the boglin if brought from the shop. I havent known the
plastic boglins to become eaten by cats but i am not sure as to whether a dog would eat the creature instead.
Boglins like to be kept clean using a tissue and lightly going over the top just giving it the odd brush once a month (if
collecting boglins). Boglins that are constantly played with will not need cleaning as they are constantly having the dust
shaken off during play.

Dislikes

Boglins hate being left alone for too long as they tend to develop alot of dust which can affect the way the boglin has been constructed. Boglins dont like to be placed near any form of house pet such as Cat, dog, rat, etc. This is for the pure reason that they shall soon become extinct through lack of self defense.
Boglins cannot stand water as it will affect the way their skin is developed. Boglins hate to grow old but doesnt everything else? If your owning an old version and have children its best to buy them the plastic versions and place the old versions away as the latex ones dont seem to be sold in the shops no more.

Boglin information

Here is a brief on how to keep a boglin. Boglins are best kept away from animals such as cats as they could soon become an
Endangered species like the box states. Boglins are best to not meet the water. This could cause the boglin to become tatty
and unvaled by its owner.

My personal experience

Personal expereince

Ever since i was about seven I have been collecting Boglins. At one time I had quite alot but after years of collecting my
cat had eaten away at the boglins I did have which had to be thrown away. I had really forgotten these creatures existed until
my mother brought me one from a car boot sale about a year or two ago.
At first I didnt really take much interest in the toys after such a long time had passed since I had one. Then recently I
realised how much fun I used to have keeping myself amused for hours whilst playing with my favourite toy of all the toys
I did have. I am fortunate to get this boglin still in one piece and with eyes moving and the box still in good condition.

I am hoping to one day have collected all the original boglins within the set that are made of Latex rubber. The modern boglins
are made of plastic and arent so good as they used to be. You should be able to buy the plastic boglins at any local woolworths
store (if in the united kingdom). They usually cost around 10-20 pounds each. Once I have collected all the original boglins
then I shall begin to collect the moden boglins that are made of plastic

Emergency Aid and treatment

Basic boglin first aid

If your boglin has sufferred the almighty water splash then the way to curing this is to NOT get a towel and dry it out as
fast as you can but to get a towel and gently dab the boglin to prevent the skin from stretching too much and coming out of
shape
If your boglin has been found in the middle of your lounge, kitchen, bathroom or bedroom or wherever it is and is in 50 pieces
then your best bet is to send it off to boglin heaven which is formly known as the TIP. The older the boglin is the less likely
its going to be able to survive the attacks.
If you notice a hole developing within the skin then its wise to leave the boglin to spend the rest of its days in its cage
locked up in the secure room if you wish to keep it for years without it falling apart.
