Soroptimist International, a worldwide organisation for women in management and the professions, is  a global voice for women through Awareness, Advocacy and Action.

   through International Goodwill and Understanding and Friendship.

is in 126 countries and has over 97,000 members in some 3000 clubs 

Four Federations:

Our Region  is:

South West and Channel Islands

The names of the Federations only indicate the main area they cover and ours, for instance, includes countries in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.

An International Convention takes place every four years, the venue rotating between Federations.
A Conference  for the Federation of Great Britain and Ireland takes place annually.

Membership is for women active in their profession or occupation - and once a Soroptimist always a Soroptimist, unless you resign.

AND it is so easy to transfer to, or just visit, any other Soroptimist club in the world  - and you can be sure of a welcome (or assistance).

If you join the Soroptimists you also have the advantage of a residential club in LONDON.
