A Pyramid of Shoes was built at the premises of the Avon Fire and Rescue Services at Temple Back, Bristol on 31 October 2006 The aim was to raise awareness of land mine casualties with each shoe symbolising a limb lost to Cluster Bombs and Landmines. The project received recognition at the International Soroptimist Convention in Glasgow, August 2007. |
