They could be trying to trick you, and you may be in danger.

Remember, people rarely tell the truth about themselves on the internet. If you are under 18 years of age, we would prefer that you only use these chat rooms under adult supervision. And if anyone on the internet ever asks for your details, or asks to meet you, YOU SHOULD TELL AN ADULT immediately, and of course, stop communicating with that person. If you are an adult, we also recommend that you NEVER arrange to meet somebody who you don't know. Be extremely careful and NEVER give out any personal details online.
