The Bricklayer’s Arms, Creaton

I came to the 'Brickies' initially only for a few weeks and stayed for five and a half months. The pub is in the small Northants village of Creaton and was refurbished in 2000. A kitchen was added and the two bars swapped around. The company wanted to remove the skittles table but I managed to persuade them to keep it. My last few weeks at the pub were in the company of builders from Yorkshire with only one bar operating at a time.
The locals were a good crowd and I was sad to leave Creaton.
