Iznoghoud, the noble, hard-working Grand Vizier, no longer has time to administrate this site; and has decided to step down from his great admin-throne. He was the first member ever to join the BTOOIC's ranks, and one of BTOOIC's co-founders! Thanks for all you've done here, Iz :)
Karmic, the guitar-playing druid, has been appointed new site-admin! He has been with us for a long time, always ready to fight for our cause. Congrats Karmic, and good luck in your new job! :)
Since I am always on a different IRC server than the one our previous chatroom was at, I decided to move our chatroom to the server I am on. (It is a good quality one) This meant I had to find a new Java IRC client for those of us who want to chat via our website. Another update since a lot is (still) happening! The new mapmaking contest has many contestants (growing as we speak) and a lot of people uploaded their maps. Drop by for some feedback or motivating comments in the development section!
In the tournament Troy Locker almost caused a tremendous sensation by rushing Waterfly in the Oblivion BTOOIC tournament final! Some unbelievable moves seem to have caused Troy's retreat! The match is still not over so make sure to drop by at the AoWHeaven pbem-forums to witness the clash!
A challenge from within by Rorschach has been neutralised and punished by Swolte, read all about it in our Arena!

Hello fellow BTOOICians!
While our brave warriors fight in both Tournaments (Troy and Waterfly) and practise matches (falagar, Psykitty, Karmic and TDK!!) to increase their skills and our honour, another mapmaking contest was brought to our attention! Linking our own mapmaking_award to those of AoWHeaven (or WoC?) will be a work in progress: more news will follow!
The battle with the BBF, a rival clan, is as good as over, it seems Berend fled the Stone Sea after we killed SanctusX's forces (Swolte and Troy)! The guardians clan proves a small challenge for Kangaxx and Waterfly, yet they continue to fight till the end. The BTOOIC players are also ranked amongst the best in the Wizard ladder so we are getting a reputation to live up to!
With the arrival of Shadow Magic new challenges will await the BTOOIC, in gameplay, mapmaking and perhaps a new mission?! If any BTOOIC mission will be accomplished in the new AoW project, now is the time..
The movie business has been getting an impulse as well, all of a sudden polls and new movies pop up! Join in as well with a nice one of your own!
Oh, and please support Mister Pickles with the loss of his Middle Earth map! Perhaps it would be a nice btooic challenge to help him out and get back on his feet! I noticed quite a number of accounts that had been made long ago but seem to be unused since they have 0 posts on the forum. So to keep things a bit tidy, all normal member accounts that were made more than 30 days ago and still had 0 posts have been deleted. No members in other groups than the normal member group are affected. Great news for all AoW2 PBEM fans! Recruiting for the PBEM tournament that will be organized by Swolte has begun! There will be a total of 15 contestants who will battle each other on various balanced and good quality maps for the grand prize.
BTOOIC members get to sign up first, but after the 8th of January, anyone may (and is encouraged to) join to fill up the empty spots. It's likely there won't be 15 BTOOIC contestants, so even if you're not in the BTOOIC, you can join in. Please read this thread for all the information, and to join up. With less then one week to go it seems like we have 8 final contestants (Falagar?)! Don't forget that the map must be uploaded on/ before the 15th (see contest thread) to be in the voting! A few contestants have already done this!
Make your final tweaks, playtest and submit! Since we plan to invite as much people to vote as we can, you are also strongly advised to upload your map at AoW2Heaven.
