| As we hit about 1 week our mum Holly took very ill and no one new if she would survive, so with Ebony the dog looking after us for 3 days waiting for the RSPCA to come and pick us up, just for a few weeks mind, as our human had her hands full with her own kids never mind poorly Holly. (hey we still had to be bottle fed). We did stay there for about 3 weeks but sadly the ginger tom had to stay behind, as none of us were planned and our humans had enough pets already to look after, we are talking cost not space. During our time there Holly did forget about us or should we say she did not recognize us anymore, that meant we had to put up with hisses and growls from her, but our humans made sure that she would not hurt us. We think that we had a normal “kitten-hood” from then on, with all the trimmings, like scratching furniture etc. , but sadly we did get told off for things like that. Squeak says: Bubble went through a few funny phases like thinking the dishwasher is a monster .....and she still does ... heheh silly girl! Bubble says: And you are no better with your smells and if a crumb drops on your coat you run a mile ... or two ... big girls blouse ! Squeak says: Shortly before we had to visit the Vet in December that year for .. well we don't like to talk about it ... neutered, Bubble went missing for 4 days (hey i knew why) but did return just in time . So even Bubble had to go for her operation to make matters worse we did get this funny chip implanted under our skin ( did that make us any smarter ? ) in case we got lost ( as if we would) so that is someone does find us they can check with this silly scanner who we belong to. Once winter was over and the days started to get brighter and longer , we found hunting birds and insects was a lot more fun then chasing toys around indoors. And I thought it was great using the back garden as a “Bird Depot” much to my surprise our human did and still don't find it funny ... she keeps saying “ i know it is in your nature but please leave them somewhere else”. I even did chase one into the house once to do “you know what” but got told off big time for it, I wonder why. Bubble says: While I am happy enough with the insects at least that way I won't get into any trouble..... hey the humans feed me enough anyway so there is no need. Both say: After all this time Holly still does not like us but since we found out why ... she is frightened of us ... we'll give you 2 guesses what we do to her.......BULLY her .... (hehehe) even if it get's us in trouble Bye for now Bubble and Squeak |
