Great to read that On The Buses may return thanks to Austin Powers star Mike Myers. An article in a UK newspaper (Daily Star, Sunday, July 27, 2003, p. 3), says that Mike Myers has snapped up the rights to the 1970’s comedy classic and is currently finalising a deal with the show’s original producers, London Weekend Television. Mike is a great fan of the show and as well as producing the new series he is also planning to take the role of bus driver Stan Butler.
Oh by the way Mike, if you read this and are short of someone to play a role, I would be willing to play any part... except Olive that is!
