The Christmas edition of ON THE BUSES fan club mag is out now priced £3.00 including UK postage and packaging. To order email

busesfanclub@aol.com

Well, what year it turned out to be. An invitation to meet with Reg Varney and to be a part of the making of a South Bank Show LWT Special, to be shown in the New Year. (Transmission date not yet known).

Attending the plaque event held at Prestatyn Pontins commemorating the making of Holiday on The Buses in which I got to meet and chat with Stephen Lewis and travel on a bus around Prestatyn with him. Plus on top of all that DD Home Entertainment has agreed to stock the ON THE BUSES videos and DVD’s which will make it easier for fans to get copies, whatever part of the world you are in. There will be a section dedicated to DD in the next edition of the mag.

If you want to visit the web site go to www.ddvideo.co.uk If you order videos, DVD’s or a catalogue on line in the message section please mention ON THE BUSES fan club. But don’t forget the ON THE BUSES items will not be available until early 2005.

In the Xmas edition there is an ON THE BUSES crossword, a couple of stories about real life ON THE BUSES, reminisences from the world famous bus man Thomas Steele, pictures, your letters and emails plus lots more. There is also a Christmas competition to enter via post or email. In this mag there are snowmen appearing throughout in various guises all you have to do is tell me how many.

But beware there are one or two penguins in winter clothes that are not Snowmen.

Send your answers in and a winner will be chosen and you will be contacted with a choice of ON THE BUSES prizes to choose from.

Thanks for all your support emails and articles as always keep them coming in, it makes all the hard work worth while.

All that remains is to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year until next time DING DING
