Bridgeview football club was formed in 1990 to give a platform for the dads from the Bridgeview Junior football club to show the kids that they could actually do what they were preaching to them! Bridgeview football club joined the MId Sussex League Division 7 for the season 1990/91 and to the kids surprise finished runners up and gained promotion. This success generated such interest that the following season a second 11 was entered into the league. In it's 12th season the first team finished as Champions of
the Premier Division having been promoted as runners up from division 2 in 1999 and as Champions of Division 1 in 2000. The prefix Lewes was added to the clubs name in 1995, the year after the club entered a team in the Lewes Sunday League. The club objectives have changed to provide a continuance for the boys coming up from the junior club and their introduction to the senior game.
