The sightings below are mainly my own or from Colin Selway, all others are credited to the observer and are unchecked.

April 5th;

 

CAMEL ESTUARY; A first winter RING-BILLED GULL was present on Dinham Flats this afternoon together with the second winter Iceland Gull and two Mediterranean Gulls, (an adult and a second summer). Two Bar-tailed Godwit, three Greenshank, four Redshank and seven Little Egret were also present. At Padstow at lunchtime, an adult Little Gull and an adult Mediterranean Gull, (different to the Dinham bird) were noted. As were three Sandwich Tern.

 

HARLYN POOLS; 16 Swallow and ten Sand Martin were present this morning.

 

CLAPPER MARSHES; A single Coot present this evening, is probably a new species for this site. Other species present included 60 Sand Martin, two Shoveler, five Wigeon, a Snipe and a Sparrowhawk.

 

WADEBRIDGE; A Peregrine passed high over the town this morning.

 

April 4th;

 

CAMEL ESTUARY; An Iceland Gull , a Mediterranean Gull and a Little Gull were reported today on Dinham Flats.

 

April 2nd;

 

CAMEL ESTUARY; The second winter Iceland Gull was present off Wadebridge Sewage Works this evening.

 

UPPER TRERAVEN MEADOW, WADEBRIDGE; An adult Little Gull was in the flood meadow this morning as was a first winter Mediterranean Gull. A Willow Warbler was noted singing here in the afternoon.

 

CLAPPER MARSHES; 60 Sand Martin, ten Swallow, seven Shoveler and five Wigeon were present this morning.

 

AMBLE MARSHES; 120 Sand Martin, ten Swallow and a male Pintail were noted this morning.
