The small clubhouse is a cottage, once lived in By Sir Tom Sopwith, a few metres from the shore by a small inlet, bounded on the other side by salt marshes. The cottage is on the site of the Calshot Activities Centre, membership of which gives us excellent hot showers and changing facilities, a bar and car parking. Launching and recovery is possible at all states of the tide.
