There has always been a place for the novice, with sheltered waters near at hand, but plenty of scope for the more adventurous with some of us even circumnavigating the Isle of Wight in Wayfarers. In between there are the sometimes empty rivers and creeks to explore such as the Hamble and Ashlett Creek or catch all the action of Cowes Week.
