Saturday 22nd November 2003
With CB in cup action this weekend Stonewall had an opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the league but they failed at the hands of Deportivo. Stonewall lost 2-0 and now CB have 2 games in hand and the same points as Stonewall. If CB can win their games in hand on Stonewall they can go 6 points clear.


Saturday 22nd November 2003
It was the 2nd round of the Middlesex County FA Intermediate Cup and CB had drawn Ealing Assyrians. With 15 minutes of the match already played and CB 1-0 up thanks to a Gary Franklin thunderbolt from 35 yards, the ref abandoned the match after the Ealing manager came onto the pitch to voice his opinion on one of the referees decisions.


Wednesday 19th November 2003
5 CB players were involved in the Middlesex County League representative team that beat the Seagrave Haulage League Division 1 representative team 3-1 after extra time.

Saturday 15th November 2003
2 mistakes and alot of misfortune left CB scrating their heads as to how they managed to lose their game against Stonewall. Stonewall could only manage 3 attempts on target all game but scored twice with CB creating at least 20 chances and only managing to convert 1. CB had the majority of possession and Stonewall were on the back foot for almost the whole of the second half. But CB could not make their pressure count and lost 2-1 and relinquished their top spot in the league to the Stonewall team.

CB lost only their second league game of the season to Walthamstow Pennant 3-1.


Saturday 1st November 2003
Marsh Rangers put up a brave battle against CB to snsure that the final score was only a respectable 2-0 defeat in a match that should of seen CB chalk up a bag full of goals. CB wasted chance after chance and struck the woodwork on numerous occasions and Marsh Rangers nearly made them pay for missed opportunities but for the quick reactions of Lee Conybear in the CB goal.


Saturday 25th October 2003
CB started this seasons cup campaign with a win at home to a well organised New Hanford side. CB ran out 3-1 winners thanks to a Mark Peters hat-trick which ensured CB progressed to the next round.


Saturday 18th October 2003
CB beat Spelthorne Sports 2-0 in a frustrating match which saw 6 CB players booked. CB scored late in the match when Mark Peters tucked away a penalty in the 80th minute. Wayne Simmons made it 2 with a well taken goal to ease the pressure and make it a deserved scoreline.
Braodfields beat Hanworth Villa and Stonewall could only manage a draw which strengthened CBs position at the top of the league


Saturday 11th October 2003
2nd placed Stonewall FC lost to Marsh Rangers which allowed both Wraybury and Hanworth Villa to over take them in the league with Stonewall dropping down to 4th. CB stayed top 5 points clear of 2nd placed Wraysbury.


Thursday 9th October 2003
The match on Saturday against Walthamstow Avenue 2000 has been called off with Walthamstow unable to feild a team. CB have been awarded the 3points and strtch their lead in the league to 7 points.

Training at Featherstone Sports Centre on a Tuesday night has been changed to Thursday nights starting from Thursday 17th October


Saturday 4th October 2003
CB remained top of the league with a 1-0 win at home to Mauritius Sports. The score could have been alot more with CB creating many chances which they just couldnt convert into goals. CB were also reduced to 10 men in the second half when Rob Mark was sent off for an off the ball incident. But the goal finally came thanks to a Darren 'Sol Campbell' Hastick  header.


Monday 29th September 2003
CB stetched their lead at the top of the league to 4 points after a 1-0 win in a close encounter with London Tigers FC at Viking Greenford. Hesham Kaoud scored the goal with a cracking first half strike but was later sent off for a second bookable offence, but he had done enough on the field to earn CB another 3 points.


Saturday 27th September 2003
CB bounced back from their dissapointing result last week to beat a young but talented Crown & Manor side at the Mile End Stadium. In a hard fought game a Mark Peters penalty in the second half was the difference between the teams as CB won 2-1 and went back to the top of the league.

CB surrendered their 100% record and top spot in the league after a 3-1 defeat at the hands of CMB (Metal Box)
The match was always going to be a tough one with no less than 6 players out through injuries or work commitments.


Friday 19th September 2003
CB will play London Tigers on Monday 29th September 2003 at Viking Greenfords gound. Kick off is at 7.45pm.
This means CB have 2 matches within the space of 72 hours with a match against Crown and Manor on Saturday 27th.


Tuesday 16th September 2003
Training is no longer at Osterley Sports centre on a Tuesday night but instead at the Featherstone Sports Centre under floodlight from 8pm till 10pm. Meet at 7.30pm at Osterley Sports Club.


Saturday 13th September 2003
CB maintained their 100% record in the league with a hard fought 3-1 win over FC Sofia. CB were 2-0 up at half time after a poor first 45 minutes and soaked up alot of pressure in the second half as FC Sofia pushed for an illusive 2nd goal.


Thursday 11th September 2003
CB should have a full strength squad for saturdays match against 2nd bottom placed team FC Sofia. Club Captain- Ryan Russell and midfielder Adam Moroney return from holiday to fight for a place in saturdays team.


Saturday 6th September 2003
CB made it 5 wins out 5 with an impressive 3-1 victory over 2nd placed Wraysbury and moved top of the league with maximum points and a game in hand.
