The Choir Singing farewell to Bishop Bill at Eden on 6th April 2008
Callington Community Gospel Choir is an adult choir open to anyone over the age of 18 years. You do not need to be a church goer. As we Have now outgrown our old venue the choir now practices weekly at The METHODIST CHURCH GUILD ROOM, HAYE ROAD, CALLINGTON, CORNWALL. It has about 35 members and is in huge demand with bookings being taken often over a year in advance! The choir has its own equipment, which was grant funded by "Archbishops' Council's Mission Fund", "The Deanery Synod" and "The Callington Town Forum" which are all based in Cornwall. All are welcome to attend practices, and join if they like it. There is no charge to join the choir but we all pay subs at £1 per week. Choir Dashikis will be provided!
