July (2003) Braai

The Trustees of Rhodesians Worldwide (United Kingdom and Ireland) are happy to announce that this years Annual Braai will be held over the weekend of the 18 - 20 July.

The do is to be held at Leedons Park, Childswickham Road, Broadway, Worcestershire (in the Cotswolds). It looks a super place, with more and better facilities than any other we have used before (heated outdoor swimming pool, mini market with off licence, TV room, cafeteria/takeaway, teenagers games room, tennis court, children's play fort, 3 large modern ablution blocks, kitchen wash-up area and launderette).

There are, we believe, a limited number of static caravans on site, which should be available to us, and considerable numbers of B & B establishments in the area.

A sub-committee of 4 Trustees is running the event but, unfortunately, we have yet to decide costs, scoff, etc., before we can give sufficient detail (and a booking form, which will be available here on THE BAOBAB as well as from Branch Secretaries).

We will let you have further details as soon as possible; if you have any queries in the mean time, please e-mail rhodies@rhonet.org with the subject line: 'July 2003 Braai'
