I am a research fellow at Department of Electronic, Electrical and Computer Engineering, The University of Birmingham. I am from Qingdao, Shandong, China. Received B.Eng. degree in Automatic Control from the Information and Control Engineering Department of Xi'an Jiaotong University, China, in 1992, and M.Eng. degree in Automation Instrumentation and Apparatus in 1995. After graduation I worked for Bank of China as a computer engineer from 1995 to 1999. From 1999 to 2002 I was a Ph.D. student at Electronic, Electrical and Computer Engineering School of the University of Birmingham.
