Chan Koon Pak

Chan Koon Pak, the second son of Choi Lee Fut founder Chan Heung, was a very adept and intelligent person. At a rather young age, he had mastered the art which his father had passed onto him. Instead of teaching Choi Lee Fut Chan Koon Pak, first chose to become a merchant and settled in Kong Moon. But later under the constant pressure of friends and family he was persuaded for a short time take up the position of head instructor at the Hung Sing Choi Lee Fut School in Kong Moon.
After while Chan Koon Pak moved to the city of Canton, where again as a result of popular request he opened a Choi Lee Fut kung fu school. Countless numbers of people had come to him for instruction; notably Fong Yuk Shu, Ngan Yiu Ting, Wong Fook Wing, Wu Kee Biu, Lee Hin Cheung, Choi Pak Tat, Choi Pak Hung, etc. Chan Koon Pak was said to be a great disciplinarian and the same stern attitude to learning was also impressed onto his two son's, Chan Yiu Chi and Chan Man Bun.
