This started out as a web page for my Parish Church, SS Peter & Pauls here in Lincoln. Since then a good friend of the parish has created a wonderful site with lots of the things we needed. Having put these pictures up though I thought I would keep it and develope it over time. The cross of Peter above the ancient Christian symbol of the fish, a secret password in the Roman catacombes of nearly 2000 years ago. The word fish also spelt out the letters of the Lords Parayer in the local language, also Peter was a "fisher of men" a title retained to this day by the Popes who followed him. Looking Down: To the right is a 20th century exposition to the crusifiction which also looks down from above on the sea of Galleli and the first apostles. Desiderata. Click here for one of the finest and most real pieces of prose I have ever read: Chris Burke's Personal Site:Welcome Page. |
