This imposing ex farmhouse, built about 1835, is situated in a small hamlet down the River Eden, in a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest and Outstanding Natural Beauty. An excellant retreat for watching wildlife even from the comfort of your own room.
 
We are in a tranquil almost forgotton part of the Eden Valley, however Carlisle and Penrith (The Gateway to the Lake district) are within easy reach by car.
 
On on 2.5 acre property you are welcome to relax in the garden, watch the wildlfie, help feed the Shetland Sheep, chicken and geese, or stroll along the river.
 


Accommodation:
You will be staying in a comfortable first floor centrally heated twin-bedded room with a wonderful view of the river and countryside beyond.
 
Downstairs there is a dinning/sitting room for your own use with an open fire if needed. Here you are quite welcocme to have quests of your own to join you - just let us know.
 
We offer a choice of breakfast including full Engligh Breakfast. Picnics/evening meals are available by arrangement. Special diest can be catered for. We are unlicensed but you are welcome to provide your own wine.
 
Tariff:
One night £24.50 p.p. B&B Two nights or more £21.50 p.p.p.n.B&B that are booked in advance. Special discounts 4 nights for the price of 3.
 
Because of the situation on farmland by the River Eden we regret that Brocklewath is not suitable for wheel-chair users or children.
 
Dogs by arrangement only.
 
There is ample parking and a bicycle shed.
