Old town of Vannes
Vannes is situated Golf of Morbihan. It is very beautiful town as well as very safe town in France( according to survey).
My neighbor (French) told us that Vannes was nominated one of the best place to live in France by french news paper.
Good job oppotunities, good hospitals, etc. On top of that, Vannes is very beautiful town with own histry and beautiful scenary (ex. yocht harbar).
Vannesの町並み
Vannnesはブルターニュの南がわ、モルビアン湾岸にあります｡ 中世に建てられた昔の木組みの家がたくさん残ってました｡
私たちのご近所さん（フランス人）によると、Vannesはフランスでも‘住むべき町 トップ１０’に入るほどの住みやすい町だそう。
仕事もたくさんあるし、良い病院もたくさんある、 安全、などなどが理由だそうです。 なおかつ、Vannesは歴史の古い町であり、環境も抜群！（ヨットハーバーもある）
This town is also surrounded by wall (such as St Malo,many old towns are suounded by wall in Brittany).

この街も城壁で囲まれているのですが､St Maloほど顕著ではありません。 城壁の外側にはとっても整備された美しい庭園が広がっています。
この公園の裏には、この街のカセドラルが建っています。
This is Wash House, which is very famous for the interesting roofing.
その庭園の片隅にこのかわいい建物 ‘Wash House’（洗濯場）があります。 これも中世に建てられたもので､その目的はその名もずばり､洗濯するため。 堀の水でお洗濯したんでしょうね。
この建物は屋根がとっても特殊だそうで､見ごたえのあるものでした。
There are a few colleges In vannes, so you can find lively cafe. bar, stc.
Ofcourse there are a lot of good restaurants ( not only French but Asian!).
Vannes is paticurally popular with Parisian (according to my French neighbor), and the house price is quite high because of that.
But it is very convinient place to live as well as beautiful place to live!
Vannes には、小さい大学もあるので、若者用のアクティビィティーも結構たくさんあります。 かわいらしいCafeとか、ﾊﾞｰとかが、結構ある。
おいしいレストランもたくさんあります、フレンチレストランだけでなく、アジア料理も楽しめます。
近場には大きな水族館（Aquarium Oceanographique Et Tropical)もあります。
交通の便もいいので、ついつい長居したくなる町です。
