26/1/03 We lost 3-1 to Thurston and go out of the League Cup in the 2nd round. Our next match is next Sunday against Trentmill FC.

19/1/03 Dave Robinson has confirmed that we are currently in talks with Mark Perkins over a possible transfer. If the transfer went ahead it would be the biggest in the club's history, as he is without doubt one of the best strikers in the league. He recently left Bradwell Club, and initially said he would join Seabridge at the end of the season, but hopefully the transfer can be concluded before then.

13/1/03 NEW SIGNING John Grant, a right sided midfielder has signed for the club.

12/1/03 Today's match was postponed (again!) due to the pitch still being frozen.

22/12/02 Today's match against Thurston was postponed at their request, while last Sunday's game against Bradwell was called off due to the unavailability of a referee.

2/12/02 Tom Swindells has changed his mind and decided not to join the club. Meanwhile we have signed another player, Asa, who usually plays in defence.

29/11/02 Dave Robinson has announced his intention to continue as manager of Seabridge Football Club. He made the decision public before training last night.

27/11/02 Training will go ahead as usual tomorrow night at Power League, meeting at 6.30pm. Currently there have been no new developments since Sunday regarding the manager situation.

25/11/02 NEW SIGNING Tom Swindells officially joined the club yesterday after training and could make his debut on Sunday.

24/11/02 Following a training ground disagreement with Andy Ray, Dave Robinson has announced his intention to resign as Seabridge Football Club manager. With 7 days remaining until our next match, there is still hope that he may reconsider his decision.

18/11/02 We lost 6-1 to Golden Cup.

11/11/02 Yesterday we cruised to a 5-2 victory against Five Towns. The win leaves us just five points behind second place.

4/11/02 We have changed pitches, but are still at Roe Lane. We will use the new one for the first time on Sunday against Five Towns

28/10/02 Sunday's match against Marsh Head has been postponed due to our lack of players.

27/10/02 Injuries to Roy, Iain and Danny Heath caused us to finish today's match with just nine players. Despite drawing 1-1 at halftime we ended up losing 11-1, a new club record defeat. Match report comming soon.

25/10/02 Kev will take over as manager for Sunday's match as Dave Robinson is away on holiday.

24/10/02 We play Marsh Head OB at Roe Lane on Sunday. Dave Ray will be suspended for an unpaid fine.

14/10/02 Our injury list continues to grow, Kev will be out for approximately 5 weeks, while Daniel Smith will miss the next two matches due to holiday.

24/9/02 NEW SIGNING: Simon Hughes, a right-winger or forward, signed for Seabridge on Sunday and will train for the first time on Thursday.

17/9/02 New team Marsh Head Old Boys, have won their second match of the season and now top the Banks's Alliance. Five Towns have continued their poor start to the season by losing 9-1.

15/9/02 Following a meeting at training today, it has been decided to hold training sessions at Stoke Power League during the winter. The sessions will take place on Thursday evenings, starting at 7pm and will cost each player £2. All players should arrive at Power League at 6.45.

12/9/02 As expected, Sunday's match has been cancelled. Our first game of the season will now be on Sunday 22nd September against Milton Wanderers.

8/9/02 Next week's fixture against Railway Inn looks set to be cancelled as they might not even be in our league! Railway failed to attend the last two league meetings and havn't registered a single player with the league so far.

7/9/02 The league has changed it's name during the summer from Marston's Alliance to Banks's League. This season there are 10 teams, including two new sides, Marsh Head Old Boys and Five Towns. Village Tavern, Milton Travellers and The Bear have all left.

6/9/02 The fixtures for the first month of the season have been announced, and can be viewed by clicking on 'results'. Our first match should have been against Golden Cup on Sunday, but this was postponed last night.

31/8/02 ANOTHER NEW SIGNING: A 30 year old left sided midfielder, recommended by Lyndon, is set to sign and is likely to make his debut in tommorows friendly with Golden Cup.

31/8/02 Unconfirmed reports suggest The Potter could be thrown out of the league before the season has even started. Apparently, six of their players were shown red cards during a friendly against Trent Mill (formally Corner Cupboard) on Thursday night. As a result of this, fines will be imposed which they might not be able to pay and would then be forced to leave the league.

26/8/02 We are in desperate need of a keeper again after Steve Pointon's transfer fell through.

25/8/02 Our match against The Potter was cancelled at the last minute. We managed to line up a replacement match against Motor Clinic, but lost 6-1.

22/8/02 Sunday's friendly against Motor Clinic has been cancelled due to them not having enough players available.

21/8/02 TRANSFER NEWS: Striker Pat Coates is expected to train with us at Wye Road tomorrow. All being well, he will then probably feature in Sunday's freindly with Motor Clinic. Match Preview

18/8/02 Our pre-season preperations began in the best possible way with a 4-3 victory over PDSL outfit, Motor Clinic. Danny Smith, Kev and Steve Pointon all made their debuts in the match which was only arranged minutes before kick-off. Match Report

17/8/02 NEW SIGNING: Keeper Steve Pointon has joined the club and will take over immediatly in goal.

17/8/02 Season 2002/03 of the Marston's Alliance kicks off on September 8th. Our only fixture to be confirmed so far is on 22nd September against Milton in the first round of the Staffordshire Sunday Trophy.

21/7/02 Pre-season training starts at 10.30am today and will continue every Sunday at Wye Road. As usual, extra training will take place on Thursdays also at Wye Road.

20/7/02 Last night Simon Myatt was announced as the Marston's Alliance Player of the Season for 2001/02.
