Stafford County Show Ground, Staffordshire

The oldest and largest of all the classic shows, The International Classic Motorcycle Show is very much a traditional show that attracts the best from around the world. There are club stands, trade stands, private entries and a massive autojumble that fills several of the halls and outside field at the Stafford County Showground. It is always a great draw for the enthusiast and last year over 26,000 people flocked to the showground, will you be one of them this year?

13^th May 2007 - The Harewood Speed Hill Climb

This is a unique event in our calendar in that it combines a static classic car show with a day of motor sport on the same site. Many entrants display their classic cars & bikes. There will also be Trade & Autojumble. Throughout the day there will be live action from the British Hillclimb Championship when drivers will compete in two rounds of the championship, exceeding speeds of 120 mph. In total around 150 drivers will be competing, including the top UK Hillclimb drivers. Cars will range from road-going saloons to F1 powered race cars. 22^nd – 24^th June 2007 - Goodwood Festival of Speed

It will be the 15th running of this popular international motor sport event and promises to be packed with action and excitement as the world’s most glamorous racing machinery and famous drivers gather together in the grounds of Goodwood House. The theme for this hill climb event is currently under discussion and will be announced later this year.

1^st July 2007  (Sunday) – The Serpentine Run

(A CLOG event in aid of local charities)

The event is open to all types of classic car and motorbike and will start from 9am at The Buxton Community School and involve a route though the Peak District National Park taking in some of the UK’s most beautiful scenery.

Entrants will be given their route maps at the registration point, where they can also get refreshments (tea, coffee, bacon butties and the like), and from where they will also be started at regular intervals.
