Boys begin their years in the Company Section, after finishing in the Junior Section, at the age of 11/12 which all co-incides usually with their first year at secondary/grammer school also.
The Company Section uniform consists of black trousers and black shoes, royal blue shirt with BB incrested logo over breast pocket, navy BB tie and badge armbands.
A typical meeting night, boys will fall in, have their attendance taken and uniform inspected. The Captain will make a few short announments. Boys will then fall out and proceed to badge classes and hobbies class. After this boys will take part in.
Meeting nights, Thursdays @8pm-10.15pm
A boy will start off in the rank of Private before moving up to the rank of Lance-Corporal, then Corporal to the highest rank of Sergeant. At 18, if a member would like to stay on as a helper they will gain the rank of Staff Sergeant or Warrant Officer. Boys can take the Basic Officers training course or the King George VI course to become a qualified officer.
