SHORT-TERM HOLIDAY RENTAL CONTRACT

I understand that the holiday home will be available from 14:00 on the day of arrival and that I must vacate it by 11am on day of departure.*

I have read and agree the terms related to the cancellation of the rental.**

I will pay a further 40 Euros to the key holder on my arrival.

I agree to return all the keys for the property to the agent on my last day.

Should there be any problem related to the proprietor’s property that creates a safety or security issue I agree to report it to the key holder immediately. The key holder will take appropriate action to resolve the problem.

In the event that any of the proprietor’s property, fixtures and fittings and any appliances are damaged by myself, members of my party, or my guests, or pets I understand that:

1: All costs incurred by the proprietor relating to the correction of any and all damage caused during the rental period will be recovered from the security deposit.

2: Should the cost of repairs or replacement for any damage caused exceed the security deposit of £100.00 I understand that the proprietor will require me to pay the full costs associated with repairs and replacements needed to restore the property to its original condition.

3: I agree to tell the holiday home agent of any breakages, or damage as soon as is practical

I agree that I will not assign or sublet the property, or any part there-of, and will not engage in any illicit or illegal activity whilst renting the property.

I agree that the proprietor will bear no liability to myself, or any member of my party, or my guests, for any injury sustained whilst using the property and its facilities.

I agree that the proprietor will bear no liability for any damage to, or loss of our property, how so ever caused, during the term of this contract.

* An additional charge may be levied in the event of a late departure that causes the proprietor additional expense relating to the next guest, should they be unable to occupy their holiday home because of client’s late departure.

** Cancellation Charges

More than 8 weeks prior to arrival ………………….NO CHARGE

*** The “Security Deposit” will be refunded to client no longer than two weeks after their return upon satisfactory inspection of the property and return of keys upon their departure. The proprietor’s local agent will carry out the inspection, before the client leaves.
