Alpha Counselling is located in Newcastle upon Tyne and offers gentle, respectful person-centred counselling given on a one-to-one
basis.
Alpha Counselling is set in a professional, yet relaxed environment and all sessions are 100% confidential - unless information
is given that indicates harm to self or others.
Skilled counselling is offered for such issues as personal development, stress, anxiety, relaxation, depression, addictions,anger
management, co-dependency, bereavement, recovery from sexual abuse, personality disorders and mental health related issues.
My counselling training is to NCFE Advanced Diploma level and I always work within the BACP guidelines for ethical practice.
The counselling approaches that I use include Person-centred, Cognitive, Egan's Helping Model, Gestalt, and Existential.
Counselling sessions are offered on a sliding fee scale, which should enable anyone interested in working with me to do so,regardless
of their personal income or financial situation.
In accordance with professional counselling standards, I am committed to continually developing my knowledge of counselling
theory, skills and ethical practice.
