Crashed Out formed in October 1999, in a small suburb town of Jakarta, Indonesia, called Cimanggis, Depok. They were a bunch of punk kids who wanted to play some (punk music), wanted to make their own music which contained a political issue in the lyrics. The name Crashed Out taken from a song by THE EXPLOITED, from the album PUNKS NOT DEAD. In the end of December 1999, weve released the first tape of Crashed Out - the CRASHED OUT promo tape. The tape contains 10 songs and its not great quality, because of the inexperience of the musicians, but about the lyrics are obviously political. We write lyrics about globalization, police brutality, oppressive systems, injustice, anarchy, but basically its all that we hear, feel and see. Here comes the anti globalization troops.
