Minutes from AGM held at the Littlehouse pub on 17/08/03
Members present: Roger Mann, Paul Mann, Kurt Aplin, Glen Thomas, Justin Yeates,
Jeremy Harris, Matt Coombes, Stefan Taylor
1) Apologies - none received
2) Minutes of the last AGM held on the 9th September 2002.
3) Matters arising. It was agreed to postpone a decision to include or otherwise the description 'Casuals' after the sponsores name until the end of the season.
4) Secretary/Managers Report. Reference made to the league postiton for last season and confirmation that Littlehouse retained their First Division status and again play at Stoodley Knowle, pitch 2, despite a request for Windmill Hill. Confirmation that this seasons fixture list and contact details have been circulated to all players bar those who are away at present.
5) Treasurers Report. Due to the Treasurers resignation arising from his move to London, the Secretary agreed to undertake the task until a suitable replacement is found. Meeting agreed its wish to convey thanks to Kelvin for all his hard work on the clubs behalf. It was confirmed that there is 101.50 in the accounts with no debts outstanding. Copies of the 2002/2003 accounts were circulated, no matters arising, unamimous acceptance. Confirmation that as required by the League, Public Liability Insurance cover was being obtained at a cost of 23.00
The following was confirmed by members present.6) Captains/Vice Captains Report Kurt Aplin re-elected as captain, Justin Yeates elected as Vice Captain.
7) Social Events Jeremy Harris to arrange the Christmas dinner. A quiz
to be held on a saturday night at the Littlehouse. 100p entry fee, prizes donated
by club members, fiends, associates of club.
Sponsorship of a Taunton Town Match Ball to be discussed with Russel Musker.
Discussions to be started with Jock regarding possible away trip to Sussex including
a game.
8) Fund Raising Premier League red & yellow card fines, Jez to organise. Teams to be drawn at start of season. Hippo collection to continue.
9) Other business It was agreed that new players must pay their subs before they can play in any game, league or cup. Payment in advance is now permittable for training and matches.
