This garden, entitled "A Modern Romance", was presented at the Malvern Spring Show in 1999. Designed by Josie Anderson of Creative Contours and constructed by Keyscape, a garden construction company based in Pershore, this garden won a Silver-Gilt award.

The main idea behind the garden was to show how modern aspects of garden design, such as the daring black walls studded with mirror tiles, could successfully combine with more traditional (or even romantic!) planting schemes. Showgardens are great fun to do as they allow us to experiment with unusual ideas, however we realise that black walls are not to everyone's taste!
