In late autumn of 1987, a close friend of mine, Tony Bracknell, sent out for a visit to the Crowborough caves. Despite our warnings to him that parts of the system were unsafe, and that he should not go alone (we generally use the "buddy" system employed in diving) he went. He still hasn't returned, and to be quite honest with you, we are getting a little worried about him. It is unlike him to be so late back without letting anyone know he is ok. obviously his housebrick sized early mobile phone would probably be "out of charge" by now....but is it likely to have worked in the cave system anyway? If any of your cave staff could give him a shout when they're next down there, it would be much appreciated. he responds best to being called "Tone". If you could let him know that everyone at the Sevenoaks Amateur Caving Club (SACC) says "hi", it would be most appreciated. Also (a bit cheeky I know), would it be possible for someone to take a photograph of him, and email it to me, as his son Peter (now aged 24) hasn't seen his dad since he was just ove 3 yrs old, and is really interested in seeing him again
Thanks for your help in advance!

Hi,
I was wondering whether anyone at your site would be interested in promoting our latest range of clothing aimed at the gay caving scene?
We have a wide selection of overalls and tough quality outerwear and safety gear, all in our trademark black and shocking dayglo (gayglo) colourschemes.
Popular lines are our logo'd range, which have 80's styling with vivid printed slogans such as "Explore My Sump!" and "Pot My Hole!"
I hope that this merchandise would prove a popular line with you and that all profits could be put back into your campaign!
Check out the website for full details.
Byeeeee!

Sorry, the web site address was wrong, Proff Chapman is suffering a bit from senility.

May I first say your calendar was brilliant, I though June in the snow was beautiful. I've always found your merchandise most useful.

Our team of researchers continue to unearth more information about these famous caves and all the SaS members wish you all the best with your campaign.

I've spent all Sunday washing the graffitti off the ibex carvings in the eastern entrance. To so-called 'PC Tony' - you didn't seem so upset when you received our calendar - and I quote...

'Thanks for the calendar. Nancy is HOT!!! lol! Do you have her number? Does she live in Crowborough? Do you have her address?

Tony'

...That, my friend is STALKING. Expect a visit.

Yeah, very chuffing funny. If your offering or selling merchendise under false pretences, i.e a video of the caves and they don't exist, that's FRAUD. expect a visit.
