1. INTRODUCTION

C.T.T.C. provides professional translation, editing and proofreading services from English to Chinese Simplified or Chinese Traditional, specialized in the following fields:

2. BACKGROUND

C.T.T.C. is a partnership and is expanding into a bigger company or corporation in the near future. We are working as freelancers in group. Our group members are certified artist, engineers and businessmen, graduated from Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. C.T.T.C. consultants are senior engineers, manager and managing director whom are working now in some well known companies (Muhibbah Construction, Tasek Cement, Sharp; raw estate, finance, IT) located in Malaysia, with over 35 years of engineering and management working experiences. C.T.T.C. has very powerful C.A.T. (Computer Aided Translation) software, with 50 world recognized e-dictionaries, and over 70 professional e-word databases, up to three hundred million (300,000,000) different search-able words. C.T.T.C. is ready to provide you a perfect translation with affordable price. Try us and you should be amazed!

3. FLOWCHART

The transaction begins when you request a translation service from C.T.T.C.. You then submit your document(s) to us. We will verify the contents of your document(s). If we reject your task(s) due to technical reason, the transaction is broken. Otherwise, we will accept your task(s), and we will translate 10% or less of your document(s). We will then send the 10% or less of the translated output to you as 'sample'. If you are satisfied, we will carry on finishing your task(s). Upon completion, you have to make your payment to C.T.T.C.. When your payment is settled, we will deliver the full translated output to you. The transaction is ended, or otherwise; if you abandon at this final stage without payment, you agree we take your document(s) as our sample(s), advertise on our wishes. This is to prevent any fraud played on C.T.T.C.. If you find any mistake in the final translated document(s), C.T.T.C. shall correct it, free of charge, within 1 month after the end of each transaction.

4. SOFTWARE

The "selling point" of C.T.T.C. service is we seldom use third party program to process your document(s). We are actually processing your document(s) using the original program specifically to ensure the greatest similarity and compatibility of the output. For example, if you send your document to us in Word format, we will use Microsoft Word to process it. And if your document is created using FrameMaker, we will process your document via Adobe FrameMaker. We have series of original programs with latest version and we could process any document matching the list below:

Authorware, ColdFusion, Director, Dreamweaver, Flash, Freehand, Homesite, JRun ...

AutoCAD, Notepad / Wordpad compatible files (txt, rtf ...), WordPerfect ...

If your program is too rare, you can however send a copy of your program installer in CR-R/RW package to us. We will then process your document(s) using your original program and most probably, all tasks should be done flawlessly. Attention:

- Make sure your program is compatible with the English version of Windows 95/98/NT/2000/Me/XP.
- Make sure both parties are not against any license agreement of the program.

6. RATES

Language pairs:

Service types:

1. Translation
- Document with source word(s) less than 50 words is free of charge!
- Document with source words more than 50 words is charged for USD 0.05 per word.

2. Proofreading
- Document which is translated by C.T.T.C. is proofread for free!
- Document which is NOT translated by C.T.T.C. is charged for USD 0.02 per word.

All translation and proofreading fees are direct multiplication of total source words with the specific rate stated above. Neither extra charges nor hidden fees!

7. PAYMENTS

We accept the following types of payment:

I. Bank Wire
II. Cheque / Money Order
III. Credit Card (Master Card, VISA, American Express, Discover, JCB)
IV. E-Gold

E-Gold is the easiest and fastest way of money transfer. However, Bank Wire is the fastest and safest way of money transfer. Credit Card is the most common way of money transfer, but it takes 2-3 days for a complete transaction. Cheque and Money Order are the traditional ways of money transfer; usually cause a delay from 2-8 weeks for a complete transaction, in Malaysia. For urgent transaction, payment by cheque or money order is not recommended.

8. REQUEST

To request for a C.T.T.C. translation service:

- state the type of your document ( e.g. computer, construction, ... )
- state the required time for the completion of your task
- state your source word(s)
- state your language pair and service type
- state your source document format
- state your required output document format
- state your payment method (document > 50 source words)
- attach your document(s) ready for translation or proofreading
- state also, for any other miscellaneous detail or request
- send all by email, to our mailbox: CTTC@lycos.co.uk

We shall response to you as soon as possible, within the next 24 hours. * By using C.T.T.C. service, you are agree for the terms and conditions stated in the following section IX.

9. AGREEMENT

1. You agree we take your task as our sample, advertise on our wishes; if you abandon the transaction without payment at the final stage [refer: section IV], before we deliver any completed task to you.
2. You agree we deliver the completed task to you after your payment is settled.
3. You agree there is no refund after the completion of a transaction.
4. You agree we will keep a backup copy for any of your document translated by us, for one year only.
