Royal Navy cruiser believed to be of the County Class.

A County Class cruiser in Hong Kong harbour with the distinctive Bowen Road
on the hillside.

As yet unidentified Royal Navy cruiser, probabbly HMS Vindictive.
Laid down as a Cavendish Class cruiser on 29th June 1916 and completed
in October 1918.
The hangar can be seen forward in the place of the 'B' gun mounting. The hydraulic crane and catapult is located above the hangar.

The photo shows the Royal Naval Dockyard (sometimes referred to as the China Station) with the drydock and tidal basin in view. There is also a chimney situated immediately south of the drydock. HMS Tamar with enclosed superstructure is moored alongside the tidal basin, left of picture.
