| Rachel Peak | hi guys, think it'd be great to pray for each other for the Christmas holidays. I know a fair few Christians, including myself who find it hard goiong back to a not so Christian environment at home, whether that be friends or family who aren't Christians, or those who aren't fed spiritually. Pray that we will be close to God this Christmas, wherever we may be, and have opportunities to share the good news of our God - HE is the reason for the season!! God bless x |

Please pray for other CUs around the country as they have their mission weeks. Please pray that God will open the hearts of students to his message as it is preeched around campus. Please also pray that God will give the CU members the words to answer any questions that are possed.

| CU | This monthwe are Praying for Mission Week, this is an event held by the christian union evary year. This years is taking place from the 6th-10th Febuary (2006). The week long event is held to help encourage the members of the CU to carry out there comission as christians to evangalise. There are events being held every day during the week to give people the opertunity to bring no christians to hear about the gospel. Please keep the events in your prayers up untill the event, pray for the speakers and that everything that is being organised will come together and go smoothly, Most of all we ask God that he may work in the hearts of the people in coventry University and open them to come to the events, and to hear the word, that what is said may not fall on deaf ears. Please pray for Birmingham CU, as they are in the middle of a dispute with the University students guild. We ask that the differences may be resolved quickly and that they will be able to once again have acess to there accounts and university facilities. We also ask that you pray for Cu's around the country that they will not becoe the victims of similar situations.

Please pry for all christian in the middle east that and in countries where christianity is not an accepted religion, Pray that the Lord will help them to grow in faith, and keep them safe.

| cu | Last month we are praying for China, Please join in our prayers for the people there especially those who are christians. Our prayer points till the end of easter are: 1. Pray for the youth of China that they will be able to hear the gospel message and be saved! It is currently illegal in china to preach to anyone under the age of 18.. 2. Pray for the christians in china, especially those in house chuches who are the victims of great persecution..that God will strengthen and comfort them and that they will continue to hold high the torch of christianity in communist china despite the adversities that they encounter.. 3. Pray that the church in china will be able to train up new leaders. They are finding it increasingly difficult to do so owing to the chinese government. Pray that God will provide a way that this can occur so that His sheep will be led by good shepherds 4.and finally.. that the government will allow freedom of religion in China and that the hearts of those in Government will be open to the Gospel! | Emily | Emily is a member of our CU that is currently working in a developing country. She has asked us to pray for her and the people she is working with.. if you would like to get her newsletter - you can email the CU and we will pass your details on to her! 1 For God to bring good out of the tensions and conflicts between the two religions groups. That God will give wisdom to the authorities on how to handle the situation. 2 For my friendship with Ashi to grow, that God will use me as a blessing to her, for us to have lots of laughs. 3 For our team to grow as a community, deepening relationships, being open and honest with each other. 4 That Stefan and Heinz will be able to get to the valley, to share with seekers and have fellowship with and disciple believers. 5 For the road project and my work with the NGO, for provision for the project, wisdom in making agreements and for a new Project Manager |
