28th March 2005:

VLM reduce weekday frequency on their Manchester to London City service to 8 times per day.

Wizzair revise their Liverpool to Warsaw services:

W6405 arr 1800 W6406 dept 1830 Tues, Thurs and Sat

British Airways reduce frequency on the Manchester to Oslo service to daily but is to use RJ100s 6 times per week, Manchester-Milan services will see a reduction in capacity with ERJ145s expected to operate the morning service, and, similarly, services to Vienna from Manchester will revert to ERJ145s whilst they are going to maintain a daily service from Manchester to Rome instead of operating 12 times per week for the summer as in the previous two years. Services to from Manchester to Stuttgart revert to 6 times per week, Manchester to Dussedorf flights loses thier last flight of the day outbound and 1st flight of the day inbound and services between Manchester and Southampton reduce to 5 times per day during weekdays.

Syrianair revise their Manchester-Damascus with an extra service per week, with all services expected to be operated by A320s. The schedule is:

31st March 2005:

Ryanair commence daily services from Liverpool to Reus and Murcia and introduce a daily service from Blackpool to Girona.

1st April 2005:

Air France change aircraft type on one of their Manchester-Paris services with the introduction of ERJ145s replacing 737s.

SkyEurope commence services to Krakow from Manchester. The schedule is as follows:

20th April 2005:

Ryanair commence 4 weekly services to Nimes.

29th April 2005:

Air Berlin reduce frequency on thier Manchester to Berlin service to 3 times per week with the flights operating on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

30th April 2005:

American Airlines end their winter-only service to Miami from Manchester.

Astraeus commence a weekly Manchester to Sharm El Sheikh service on Saturdays

1st May 2005:

Continental reintroduces 777s onto their Manchester-New York (Newark) service.

Virgin Atlantic change aircraft type on their Manchester to Orlando service with the introduction of their own 747-400s and make the service a daily operation.

Jet2 reduce frequency on their Manchester to Budapest service to 4 times per week with services operating from Thursday to Sunday only.

American Airlines reintroduce their summer-only service to Boston with the last service on 31st October 2005.

3rd May 2005:

Ryanair commence daily services from Liverpool to Shannon.

10th May 2005:

Estonian Air commences services between Manchester and Tallinn. The timetable is as follows:

12th May 2005:

Estonian Air commences a summer-only additional service between Manchester and Tallinn. It is expected to operate until 29th September. The timetable is as follows:

Flybe commence daily services from Liverpool to Southampton.

18th May 2005:

GB Airways add services to Malta and Paphos from Manchester:

19th May 2005:

GB Airways add services to Dubrovnik from Manchester. The schedule is:

Zoom Airlines commence operations from Manchester to Calgary, Toronto and Vancouver.

20th May 2005:

GB Airways add services to Tenerife from Manchester. The schedule is:

Euromanx commence a weekly service to Bristol from the Isle of Man; departures on Fridays and arrivals on Sundays

21st May 2005:

GB Airways add an extra service to Malaga from Manchester:

GB Airways add extra services to Malta and Paphos from Manchester:

26th May 2005:

Jet2 begin operating a daily services to Pisa from Manchester.

1st June 2005:

Emirates increase capacity on their lunchtime Manchester to Dubai service (EK17/EK18) by introducing 777-200s onto the route.

6th June 2005:

Belavia introduce a weekly Manchester to Minsk service which will operate until Sugust 29th.

10th June 2005:

Continental revise their Manchester-New York (Newark) services by adding a 2nd daily service which will operate all year round whilst altering type on the exisitng services. Timings and aircraft as follows:

CO20 arr 0740, CO21 dept 0930 mix of 767s and 757s (latter expected to oprate most days after July)

CO100 arr 0955, CO101 dept 1330 using 757s

12th June 2005:

SkyEurope commences services to Bratislava from Manchester. The schedule is as follows:

NE190 arr 1145, NE191 dept 1235 Fri and Sun

NE190 arr 1745, NE191 dept 1825 Weds

16th June 2005:

Air Canada reintroduces their seasonal Manchester to Toronto service after bmi operated this route last summer; flights will operate daily until 24th September 2005.

Flybe commence daily services from Liverpool to Exeter.

26th September 2005:

SkyEurope increase frequency on their services to Bratislava from Manchester. The additional schedule is as follows:

NE190 arr 1745, NE191 dept 1825 Mon

27th October 2005:

Emirates further increase capacity on their lunchtime Manchester to Dubai service (EK17/EK18) by introducing 777-300s on the route.

Virgin Atlantic reduce Manchester-Orlando services to 6 times per week; services on Sunday are to stop for the winter.

31st October 2005:

American Airlines end their summer-only service to Boston.

1st November 2005:

American Airlines reintroduce their winter-only service to Miami with the last service on 30th April 2006.

2nd November 2005:

GB Airways add services to Funchal from Manchester. The schedule is:

4th November 2005:

Virgin Atlantic operate the 1st of an extra 4 services to Orlando from Manchester. The other days of operation are 5th, 11th and 12th November,

13th November 2005:

Virgin Atlantic commence weekly Manchester-Barbados services using 747-400s. Timings
