If you are coming from Manila you see the Manila Channel entrance first. The photo above shows the coral formations on the left and right side of the channel. When going in for the first time go slow as there are lots of corals and shallow areas. I went over this area many times with my dingy and there are definite areas to avoid. Look at the lighter colors on the water in this picture, avoid those. It is a great natural harbor and shelter. Blue water and abundant marine life. |
