Scenes longer than a few seconds will have clips. Otherwise, just a screenshot. Also, I haven't seen all the Japanese episodes, so there's likely more stuff... Remember kids, censorship is stupid. ;p |

As you can see from the screenshots, we seriously got screwed with the CN version. I mean, c'mon, we get to see deadVan. ;) Even if it is due to a mindfuck. Van/Fiona people should love the drama :P while anti-Van people can go "ding, dong, the Van is dead~" xp |
      Ryss, by the way (and I personally think this tiny bit aids with her character development A TON) is making Fiona experience HER pain. That says a lot. Also, judging from Fiona having "Van's blood on her hands", I surmise that Ryss feels that she has *Niccolo's* blood on *her* hands. It also says a lot that those villagers surrounding Fiona are HUMAN villagers. Ryss is portraying who came and shot Niccolo. All this time I thought they were like, dead Zoidians, and that just didn't click with me. Also, note how Fiona's REACTION has been changed. In the dub, Fiona's rather blandly telling Van to rescue Ryss. In the non-dub, after just having witnessed Niccolo be shot and kidRyss be scarred for life, Fiona's actually crying for Van to go save Ryss. (The undersea battle sequence also seems somehow different, but I can't place it. No clips/screens because I don't think stuff was cut, just the context was changed.) |
