BARNSTAPLE is a good sized town in North Devon. Well known for BUTCHER'S ROW... where many butchers shops trade quite happilly side by side. These are some of the photos taken on a morning visit in July 2008. |

Sidmouth is a resort on the east coast of Devon. These are photos taken in April 2007, on a dry and warm, hazy day, so photos are not that brilliant. |

Next photo is of one of the quaint cottages in Coffinswell. Most are thatched roofed, but this one is not. All gardens in the village are well cared for, with some stunning displays of colour. |

SHEEPWASH.....a small village in North Devon....... recently voted as the best kept small village (2005) Many thatched cottages, a church and chapel, a pub and village square, but I don't know where they wash the sheep!!! |
