 REMEMBERING THE "OLD DAYS"

Exeter Guildhall.

Gandy Street......a very narrow street in the city centre.

The House that moved.

This old Tudor timber framed house was hoisted up and moved, many years ago now.... back in 1961.

It was moved just 70 metres to make way for the building of Exeter's inner city by pass road.

Looking through the window.

Inside the house is a bridal gown shop.

The old house, and St. Marys Steps Church.

An interesting 12th century tower, with figures which move,  and strike the bells, when striking the hour.

Stepcote Hill.......opposite the 'House that moved', and is cobbled, with 100 steps.

House on corner, at the bottom of Stepcote Hill.

Very old church at Mary Arches in city centre.

One of Exeter city centre's old buildings.

Old, possibly original sign, on the side of this building.

Old Houses around the Cathedral Green.

Same houses below, but looking in opposite direction, towards the Royal Clarence Hotel.
